FAQs
What is a tiny wedding or elopement?
A tiny wedding is a low-key and relaxed wedding with your closest and dearest (anywhere up to 20 people) in an epic place. Sometimes couples don't have a reception; instead, they will invest in a film which is shared with friends and family later on. Some couples choose to later throw a screening party to include others that weren’t there on the day.
Elopements are even smaller. This is a couple (2 people) plus a celebrant, and vendors. Usually, the vendors double as witnesses.
Why are you only doing tiny weddings and elopements?
It suits our personalities very well. We prefer being creative, adventurous and intimate against the backdrop of epic landscapes. There is nothing wrong with a traditional wedding and we encourage couples to choose what fits them. But for us, one of the advantages of tiny weddings and elopements, is that we can get really creative with the story and locations.
We feel awkward in front of the camera - will it be like that on the day?
We can relate and that’s why we feel more comfortable behind a camera and won’t make you feel like a show pony. We shoot natural candid style and make sure you feel comfortable. We’ll adventure off together, crack a few jokes and make sure you’re having a good time. Like hanging out with mates!
What's your process leading up to the wedding?
We'll sit down together and get to know you and learn about your wedding. If that’s not possible, we can definitely video chat. We want this process to be as stress-free for you as possible. Part of our process is helping you come up with timings that works well with you and your vendors. We have done hundreds of run sheets and know that having a good plan means you can relax on the day.
We love Tasmania, but can't chose any location. Do you have any tips?
Absolutely! We have lived here for over 30 years. Ask us about any epic locations in Tasmania and we will gladly tell. We are always adventuring around this beautiful island in our spare time. Just check our odometer!
What's your starting price?
Our collections start at $4,750. For more information on our process and pricing, please feel free to get in contact with us using the contact form.
What's your process to book?
It’s a $1,000 deposit and that locks in your date with a signed contract. The final balance is paid a month before the wedding.
Can we meet you before we book?
Absolutely! We believe in the importance of connection and prefer to meet our couples first to see if we are a good fit.
Do you use drone?
Yes, we love using drone. The use is dependent on good weather and locations (for example, did you know you can’t fly over national parks? For more information, please visit CASA).
How many people in your team come to the wedding?
There’s three of us. You’ll mainly see Lewa. Chris will be busy in the background organising things, and our third videographer will be getting drone and other footage. Having a team of three means that we can get high-quality cinematic footage on the day.
When is the best time to book with you?
We need a minimum of two months' notice before your wedding, and we can only take bookings up to 12 months in advance.
